Southside has a strong commitment to our children and youth. We seek to be faithful to the promises we make at the baptism of children, to guide and nurture them by word and deed, with love and prayer, encouraging them to know and follow Christ and to be faithful members of His church. We would normally do this through weekly Sunday school classes, providing nursery care for our youngest friends, monthly youth groups for grades 3-5 and middle and high school youth; and yearly retreats, mission trips, preparation for confirmation, and church camps. We currently have bi-weekly Zoom meetups for the students of Southside. Contact Stefan for log-in info.

Sunday Mornings
We love worshipping God as a family of faith every Sunday morning at 9:30am and the participation of everyone from our very youngest who delight us with their wiggles and giggles to the oldest amongst us who enrich us with their wisdom -- worship is better when we are together.
And so, on Sunday mornings we begin together as a community of faith in our main worship space, the Kiva. After the Time for Children, the children 5 and over are dismissed to Sunday School and our younger friends head to the Nursery. Sunday School kids rejoin us for the end of our worship service and the nursery aged kids can be picked up in the nursery at the conclusion of the service. Youth Group When we are not living in a pandemic, we have regular youth group gatherings which are generally divided into three groups: 3rd-5th Grade, Middle School, and High School. For now, we are meeting on Zoom.
