Children, Youth, & Families

At Southside, we hold a deep and unwavering dedication to the well-being and growth of our children and youth. Our promise, made at the baptism of each child, underscores our commitment to guide and nurture them through every step of their spiritual journey.
Rooted in love, prayer, and a profound sense of community, we wholeheartedly encourage them to embrace Christ's teachings, fostering their path to becoming faithful, compassionate members of His diverse church.

Cultivating Connection and Understanding

Our vibrant Children and Youth Ministry Program is built on a foundation of unity in diversity. We recognize and celebrate the unique backgrounds and experiences that each young individual brings to our community. With open hearts and minds, we create a welcoming space where every child is valued, respected, and embraced for who they are. Through themed programming, family events, and community service we cultivate our C&Y ministry to be rooted In love, faith, and community.

Embarking on a Journey of Faith and Learning

Our engaging Sunday school classes provide a nurturing environment where children can explore their faith, ask questions, and connect with others who share their journey. We are committed to using an inclusive curriculum that reflects the diverse tapestry of
our world, encouraging young minds to learn from different perspectives and appreciate the richness and lack thereof in the world.

A Home for All Ages

From our youngest members to our middle and high school youth, we provide a range of activities that cater to various age groups. Our nursery care offers a safe and loving space for infants and toddlers, while our dynamic youth groups foster friendships and
growth for grades 2-5 and beyond.

Empowering Through Exploration and Service

In addition to our regular gatherings, we believe in empowering our youth to actively participate in creating positive change. Through transformative trips, retreats, and community outreach, we instill a sense of responsibility and empathy, guiding our young leaders to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.

Preparation for a Lifelong Faith Journey

As part of our commitment to comprehensive spiritual growth, we offer preparation for confirmation and church camps that help solidify a strong foundation of faith. These experiences not only deepen their connection with Christ but also equip them with the tools to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.
At Southside, we warmly welcome all families to join us in this incredible journey of faith, love, and growth. Together, we nurture the seeds of diversity, equity, and inclusion, sowing the seeds of a brighter, more compassionate future.
Join us as we inspire and uplift the next generation, fostering a community where everyone is cherished, valued, and empowered to shine.
